Friday was a busy day, I picked up the camper at Cold Springs and headed to drop it off at the campground and after a few issues . . .it's up and ready to go. I couldn't camp there on Friday night as I was home to bring Parker to be an usher at a school play and then to Dylan's baseball game. On a good note I won $3000 on iLottery! HOLY MOLY!
Saturday, boy did it rain! Dylan was off to a birthday party and Parker was off to work. I did some shopping for camping supplies and then Dylan, Otis and I headed to the campground for the night. Saturday night I went to Revo Casino and Social House for our Blackjack Showdown! It was a lot of fun! And my winning streak continued and left with a win! Thank you to everyone that came out!
Sunday we were up early to drive back from the campground and then headed home to drop off Otis and pick up Parker. We had reservations at 9am at The Hill Bar and Grill for 9 of us to celebrate Mother's Day. It was an amazing brunch! So juch food and so tasty. From there we visited my sister in law and mother in law and then it was home to relax in the sun and read. Last week I finished The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez and this weekend I started, It's Not Hurt by Mary Kubica.
I finally broke down Sunday night . . .I miss Jeff so very much. I wanted to go through the day being okay, but as soon as the visiting was done, it all hit me. He made me a mom and now he's not here with me to celebrate our life together, to celebrate the milestones and to celebrate our children. I was a mess . .. it f**king sucks! I took Monday off to try to compose myself. I cried so much, I zoned out and now I am back ready to fake it until I make it. Life is so very hard right now. Today is a new day . . .
