I knew going into this weekend that I would be working so Friday I got out of work and took the boys to do what they wanted so off to the mall we went. They love walking around the mall just to browse, me not so much, haha, but they had fun! Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. From their we headed to Mel's Funway Park for go karts, bumper boats and the batting cages. We grabbed an ice cream and headed home.
We have been camping a lot so I haven't done a lot of yard work this summer. Saturday morning I worked for hours clearing out the horrible trumpet vine that grows all over my side yard. It really might be the death of me! It's ruing everything! I also found some bittersweet, so more digging and trying to save good bushes from that horrible stuff.
Saturday afternoon I went to the Two to Lou Music Festival held at Sandlot Sports and Entertainment. Money raised goes to the Louis T. Festo Memorial Scholarship. They have awarded over $35,000 to students! Great event, great music and great volunteers.
Sunday I worked on the yard again and then it was off to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester for the Summer Block Party. I just love this free family fun event. They do such a great job bringing the community together! If you have never been make sure you stop in next year!
Today is Monday and I am wiped out! Friday I will head out for a camping weekend! I can't wait!
