Dylan started playing tackle football this year and for Christmas he asked to go to his first NFL game. We got him four tickets to the January 7th game vs the N.Y. Jets . . . who would have thought that it would be our first snow storm! Dylan asked Parker if he wanted to go, but he declined and said someone that really likes football should go. Dylan picked his cousin Axel to come with us. With the weather reports all week, we decided on Friday to get a hotel down in Canton so we wouldn't have to drive in the morning during the storm . . .who knew that afternoon travel would be just as bad, if not worse. Taking two 8 year olds to their first game, was fun, but they got cold, they couldn't see because nobody was sitting that didn't have on snow pants and it was just a very long day. I am impressed that they spent all day outside during those conditions! If he ever goes to a game again, I will get tickets for September or October. The trek home took about 3 hours, very slow traveling, but we made it.
