The Boyce family has been searching all summer and finally we have found our pup! We rescued Otis from Mississippi through Rescue Inc. in Amesbury, Massachusetts. They were a great to work with. I have learned so much about rescuing dogs since we started looking in May. It's so sad that they don't protect animals down south. Definitely adopt if you are looking for a new pet! We are happy we did and we now have a lot of training and loving to do with our new boy Otis.
Here is his rescue story. "When these seven sweethearts were just weeks old, their mother was hit and killed on a country highway. A concerned citizen feverishly gathered up the pups and rushed them to rescue, but one pup evaded her. The puppy ran under the home of the person who had been trying to care for the stray mother and her family. When the woman returned to get the final pup, she discovered the pup had passed. They were then surrenderedd to rescue."
