IDEAS FOR COOKING – It was girls’ weekend so I was away and I had to do something quick and easy before the game when I got home.
STEAK AND CHEESE FLATBREAD – In a oiled skillet cook minced Bella mushrooms, garlic, thyme, rosemary add in shaved steak and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, crushed red pepper, Montreal steak seasoning and cook until brown. I used garlic naan bread and then top with homemade or jarred alfredo sauce and then top with your steak, sprinkle shredded Italian blend cheese and bake until cheese is melted and naan has a nice crispy bottom.
SHRIMP ALFREDO PESTO FLATBREAD – Easy just like the first but wanted options for those who don’t eat steak. Again, garlic naan, top with homemade pesto alfredo sauce, fresh chopped basil, top with cooked shrimp (deveined and shelled) and then top with shredded Italian cheese blend and bake until cheese is melted, and naan has a crispy bottom.
