IDEAS FOR COOKING THIS WEEK –

Homemade Tater Tots - I made these last weekend for my mother in law's birthday party because she loves potatoes. They came out so yummy! I peeled russett potatoes and par cooked in boiling water. you want them still a little firm when you pull them out and then let them cool. Take a cheese grater and grate your potatoes into a bowl and season with garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasonings, salt, pepper, Spud Fixin' (Camp Mix makes it) and then add in some flour and start forming your potato mixture into tot form. You can either fry the potatoes or air fry. I sprayed them with Pam Olive Oil and then air fried them and they came out really good. I served with queso cheese dip but you could serve with any dipping sauces!

Steak and cheese Egg Rolls - This is an old recipe but still one of my favorites because who doesn't love egg rolls and who doesn't love a steak and cheese! Shaved steak is on sale at Market Basket so that's a plus. In a pan, heat up some oil and cook up chopped vidalia onions, small chopped green pepper and once soft add in your shaved steak and cook until brown, season with salt and pepper and add in some worcestershire sauce and then lower the heat and add in some milk, shredded provolone cheese and some velveeta and stir and let melt slowly to coat meat. When it cools, spoon some of the steak mixture on to the middle of an egg roll wrap and seal it up tight. Then deep fry or air fry! Serve with your favorite dippin sauce!
