Covid-19 - Whoa!

Well, if you haven't heard by now, I had Covid-19. On Tuesday, January 26th I woke up with a runny nose and honestly felt fine, no fever and went to work. I even went to the gym. Wednesday, the runny nose was more in my chest, but no fever, still felt not bad. Went to the gym, went to work and never would have thought I had Covid at that point. On Thursday morning, I was broadcasting from home and Parker came down at 5am to tell me he had a bad sore throat.

I was thinking Strep or a cold like I had. After I got off the air that day I went to urgent care with him to have him tested for strep. I told them both our symptoms and said I would get the rapid test too with him to put him at ease. Well 15 minutes later I was shocked to find out he was negative and I was positive! I left there so upset, I cried, I had to call my grandmother who I had seen the week before to sign her up for her vaccine. Then I had to call work, my friends, family and everyone I may have come into contact with.

After all said and done, 18 people tested that came in to contact with me and every person was negative! We went through contact tracing and not one person I know also had it. Friday when I woke up I started to feel it more in my right lung, it was tight and by Friday afternoon I was so wiped out! I was totally exhausted! Walking to the bathroom, showering, doing anything and I would need a nap. I slept so much starting Friday and did not start to feel more normal until Wednesday.

I am so glad that it's done with and now I have some immunity for 3 months! Hopefully then I will get my vaccine!

During covid vs After covid!
I was wiped out!
