"Local author/illustrator and Manchester resident Christine Nih'shaw* will be stepping into the ring April 18th at The Royale in Boston to help knock out Parkinson's and MS.
Started in 2015 by Ryan Roach, nephew of professional boxer Freddie Roach, Punch4Parkinson's, supports the everyday Warriors living with Parkinson's Disease and MS by providing non-combat training to slow these degenerative diseases and give a fighting chance at a longer, better quality life.
Christine trains at The Training Station (Manchester) under the direction of 4th generation boxer and Coach Joe Pelletier of The Double Jab Boxing. Joe's father, Joseph Pelletier, Jr., defeated Freddie Roach in the late 70s for the Golden Gloves.
