When you start off a weekend by having friends over, watching the Celtics, the return of Jayson Tatum, AND Maine's Cooper Flagg making his TD Garden debut- (along with a helping of Chinese food) - that's a pretty good night!! Oh, and yeah - The Celtics WON!!
Good having Tatum back. Now the Celts have to work the transition of having him back full time! Looked great though!
Moving on -
So - the weather pretty much sucked photography-wise! Both days sunrises were non existent, so I took the opportunity to do something I havent done in a long time- I slept in BOTH days! I mean, sure I was up at 7:30a- but it ain't 3am, thats for sure!
Saturday afternoon, I went over to Jet Pack Comics in Rochester to say meet a local NH author who has penned over 100 books, is a New York Times Bestseller, and a #1 Author on Audible (books on tape app - which is how i found him!)! Jeremy Robinson is a NH guy and I was looking for a book to listen to just after I got back from Iceland two years ago - and I found his book - SENTINEL! It's about a whaling ship that wrecks and lands on an island of Viking Zombies! Holy shit! I was hooked! Turns out- I read all three in the series and loved em! Next- I picked his book about aliens landing in FRANCONIA NOTCH NH! I'm in AGAIN! The "GOOD BOYS" trilogy is one of the best I've read- EVER. It's total sci-fi, but it's hilarious, action packed, and dogs play a big part in the story! LOVED IT!
And now Im on to his latest novel - 30 SEVEN - and it's already grabbed me. So I met Jeremy, and had a nice chat with him and met his family- and everyone was really nice, and I hope Jerermy's writing career continues to climb because the dude is awesome- and he deserves it! Thanks to the folks at Jet Pack Comics for being so nice- as always- again. (And if you missed our interview with him - check out the Buzz 24-7 from last week and you can hear it.) Jeremy will be in Manchester this Saturday 3/14 at Double Midnight Comics from 12-2 signing his new comic - NECTAR)
Then it was out for drinks and apps - and home, where we chilled.
I did watch the series - A KNIGHT IN THE SEVEN KINGDOMS on HBO -
And I LOVED IT! I was hesitant to watch it because Game of Thrones was SO good, and I didn't really get into House of Dragons- but this series (only 6 eps long) is really good!
I did some photo work at home, since I didn't get to shoot this weekend - and I worked on images from a roadtrip to Pemaquid Point ME

And I put together this video of my roadtrip 2+ hours up into Maine -
Stuck close to home on Sunday, and the only thing we did was take Daisy to the beach for a walk -

And heres a goofy little video of her digging Long Sands in York -
I know it's not the most exciting weekend- but it worked for me! Hope you all had a good one and got outside with the nice temps!
