So, I met a family of foxes, courtesy of a friend that allowed me to photograph them in their yard.
Foxes are gorgeous animals that are fun to watch because of how playful they can be (especially when they're young), but I don't want to mess with em, that's for sure! And with that in mind, I have to say that I photographed these from a distance with a 600mm lens on the camera which brings you in much closer than I actually was. I never disrespect wild animals and always keep my distance. I don't put the animals in any distress whatsoever. In addition- these animals are near a neighborhood, so they are unfazed by people being in the vicinity of where they are. Now that I've laid that disclaimer- here's some of my shots

Foxes are know to create dens in populated areas, which I've always found amazing. So they can be used to seeing people without getting skittish about it, but you still have to keep a very respectable distance from them. This Mom fed her kits, and brought back a duck for them to eat as well. I was only there for a short while, but it was amazing to see.The are 5 kits and it was so cool to watch them play together-

Watching these animals play together, and having the Mom dote on them and care for them made my day. Thank you very much to the landowner for allowing me to spend time there, it made my day.
