My Vacation: Big Beer, Biddeford, Birds, Boston & The Titanic,

It was kind of a low key vacation for me, and that's not a complaint.

Some times just kicking back and re-charging is just what ya need, you feel me?

And when you get to chat with this guy for an hour on the last work day before vacation -

You head into a week off feeling pretty good! The awesome Fritz Wetherbee was an excellent interview, and if you haven't heard it- go back to our podcast page to check it out. He's led a fascinating life and he told us stories he never told on NH Chronicle!

Valerie and I spent a day over the break in Boston and we took in the TITANIC EXHIBIT in some Castle on Columbus Avenue - who's name I can't remember - haha

Pretty cool exhibit that included 2500 artifacts saved from the bottom of the Atlantic at the Titanic site, a replica of one of the hallways on the ship

As well as the Grand Staircase that came straight out of the movie -

On the way home we banged a left and headed towards Tewksbury to visit Treehouse Brewing Company for a beer -

And that was a big ass beer, kids!

And their pizza is one of the BEST I've ever had! Crispy, thin crust, that doesn't droop when you pick it up!

Can't recommend it enough!

We also spent a day in Biddeford ME- which is actually a really cool little town! We hit up Batson River Brewing Co with friends -

And if you're ever there, take a walk thru the Lincoln Hotel! Holy crap is it nice!

What else?

Spent a really cool morning in Cundy's Harbor ME photographing the sunrise!

And of course, took in a visit with a couple bird friends....

Oh, and vacation isn't vacation without this-

I've gotten so lazy- i forego the shells and just get the meat now!!! Haha!!!

And last but not least - something I just had to share -

I have to ask- WHO THE HELL DOES THIS????

WHO -

BUYS A TITANIC T SHIRT?????

What the hell is THAT? You're gonna buy a T SHIRT of the worst maritime disaster of all time?

Who buys a tshirt with an incredibly tragic event on the front of it? WTF!!?

Some times, I'm just astounded at s***. Astounded.

But hey, that's me.
