Well, I got the word on Friday that the Ridgeline was totaled in the accident I had last week. It wasn't a surprise really, given that there was a 4x4 wooden post impaled thru the engine and just about into the cabin- but still- it's weird going from one car to another.
Whenever I'm getting rid of one car and getting another- it's a bit of a transition for me because I generally keep cars for a long time, so Im connected to them. I spent a lot of time driving that truck. 65,000 miles, to be exact. And she was good to me. Good in storms. (except for the one we had last weeek- haha- but ice is ice, and there was nothing my or any other truck could have done on ice on a hill that's a 45 degree decline).
So anyway- she's a total loss and I had to go clean her out and remove everything that was mine from it. So I thanked her and went on my way....
And for everybody asking - including the ones who give me s*** about it - I'll be getting another Honda Ridgeline.
Friday night - had an excellent pizza and an Allagash White at the Portsmouth Flatbread Company! Seriously! Their Kailua Pizza makes my TOP 5 PIZZAS EVER list!
It's a bbq chicken pizza with onions, (I had em hold the goat cheese and parmesan) and it was EXCEPTIONAL! It was a fun night in Portsmouth!
You know what Saturday was at the house?
t was Chex Mix day. Valerie makes a KILLER Chex Mix. Little zip to it which makes it awesome!
Saturday night Tyler celebrated his birthday with a bunch of friends - so his girlfriend Morgan threw him a party - here's me and some of his buddies. Good time!
Sunday I got out to shoot down on Plum Island and ran into this little guy -
And today - according to the Rescue Agency records- is Daisy's Birthday. She's 1-
She's the perfect dog for us, and I can't believe how lucky we were to get her.
Hope you had a good weekend
