The Granite Chef Competition 2024!

The 2024 Granite Chef Competition is in the books and it was a pressure-filled blast!!!

Thank you so much to Lavalley Building Supply and On the Vine Marketplace for once again being the sponsors- what a great group of folks to work with!

And thanks to our JUDGES! Chef Dave from Cafe Espresso, Chef Spencer from Granite State Lunch Box, Amanda from Lavalley Building Supply, and Sean and Faith from On The Vine! They had a tough job - and it was VERY close between all for competitors!

Kretchy grilled with his son Tyler (marinated - in coca cola - rib eye tacos, with avacados, lime, red onion red pepper salsa, Elote - mexican street corn and grilled watermelon), Laura grilled with her son Dylan (Steak Oscar, with crab meat and hollindaise sauce along with sliced and spiced potatoe), Roadkill cooked a pork loin with crispy small potatoes and grilled asparagus) with his bandmate Ben, and Kelly grilled stuffed lobster tails with a cucumber and tomato salad with his buddy Cappy Carl!

The last minute secret ingredient was- PINEAPPLE! And it had to be included in the dish you plated somehow -

And the winner of this years close battle? TEAM "EL GUAPO TACOS!" - Kretchy and Tyler bringing home the gold!
