My Weekend: Got Stonefaced, The Mother Truck, Pete Davidson & Took Pitchas

Once again- another busy weekend, but this one was highlighted by the Buzz Mother Trucking Giveaway!

You know, one of the coolest things we get to do in this job is to make people happy by giving away awesome things, and NOTHING is more awesome than a $72,000 Ram Laramie Truck from Foss Motors of Exeter! The winner was Steve Robinton of Pembroke NH -

Very happy for Steve and his wife, and very thankful to Tim Foss and everybody at Foss Motors Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram of Exeter!

After a little down time at home, I headed out to the Casino Ballroom to see comedian PETE DAVIDSON. I'm a long time fan of his from SNL, Bupkis, and the movies he's made. I know some folks don't like him - but I do. His self deprecating humor is what I appreciate most about it. I don't care about the tabloid nonsense- that's all b.s anyway...

The only pic I have from it is the pic of the ticket because it was a "phone free event". Everybody in the place had to have their phone locked into a special bag so they couldn't use it during the show. More and more comedians are doing that so people don't record their act and post it- thus ruining it for anyone going to see future shows. I know it's a pain, but I understand it completely. In addition- i think it ADDS to the show experience because you're not checking your phone, texting, or recording it while the show is going on and you can actually EXPERIENCE THE SHOW for once!

But here's a stock pic I can use of him - haha..

The show was good. Pete's totally sober now and he told some funny stories in Hampton. He's not a one joke after another kind of comedian. He just talks about the weird s*** that happens to him in his life and the stories are pretty funny! Is it the best comedy show out there? No, but I liked it and he gave me exactly what I expected, so thats a win.

Got out on Sunday morning to take the camera out in the fog.

I love fog. Love the mystery it adds to scenes you've seen a million times-

Started off in Kittery Point at Pepperell Cove - one of my favorite spots-

Love being out there in the fog, man.

And when I come - look who's waiting for me at the door....

Brings a friggin tear to my eye, bro. Nobody in my LIFE has ever been as excited to see me as Daisy Mae!!! Hahah- I mean seriously, she loses it when I come home! I ain't lying! Makes me feel LOVED!!!! haha- And when I leave= she waatching from the door all heartbroken!!! Dogs! They're good for the self esteem! Cat's don't give a s*** about anybody, but DOGS make you feel LOVED!!! haha

Sunday afternoon we hit STONEFACE BREWING for another stop on our Brew Tour (but its our second visit there so we don't add it to our number- which is currently at 68 breweries visited in the last year or so).

Love the folks at Stoneface, love the beer and food too, and the vibe is always perfect!

Oh, and did I mention the awesome service at Stoneface??? Hell yeah! Brandon was the man on Sunday and he was crushing it! Pleasure to meet you Brandon, and the honor was all mine!

ps. Try the lobster rolls. They're killer.

And speaking of "killer" - saw this badass enduring the rain storm on Sunday too....

Dude is STOIC. Rain don't bother him none. He's too busy just hangin' out doin AMERICA type stuff.

And last but not least to my buddy Scal - Brian Scalabrine got on one of the Duck Boats in the Celtics Victory Parade (if you don't know he'e part of the broadcast team all season) - and it looked like Scal was having a blast-

RIght on, Scal!

Hope you all had a good weekend!
