Happy Post Easter, folks!
Hope y'all had a good weekend! Valerie and I had a great time hanging with friends and the kids for the entire weekend!
I'm focusing on the positive because I know we're looking at more SNOW this week. Can you believe that shit??? Ugh.
Anyway- we started with another couple stops on the Brew Tour with our friends Gary and Lorraine! First stop was Cisco Brewing in Newington -
*I had the "Shark Tracker' - and it was good!
Second stop was a second stop at Earth Eagle North in my hometown! Chilled for a couple rounds playing trivia and laughing our asses off! Good time!
Also got the chance to watch the ROADHOUSE remake starring Jake Gyllenhaal on Amazon.
Im a big Gyllenhaal fan, man - but this movie didn't thrill me. It kind of felt slapped together and although it doesn't suck- it's not very good either. Still - sometimes those are just the kind of movies you're in the mood for, right. Having said that- - I wanted to burn my own eyes out watching Connor MacGregor. Worst acting (or over-acting) I've seen in ages.
Moving on!
Saturday we spent chilling at the house doing house stuff and taxes. And on Saturday night, the kids came over for dinner and we watched some hoops. Great night.
Early Sunday morning I was out the door with the camera - and stopped in Portsmouth....
And then on to York for the sunrise, which wasn't eventful - but I saw this great layer of colors behind Boon Island Light...
Got up to the White's last week too - and got this one on Sugar Hill during a beautiful day -
Easter morning we hung out with our friends Dave and Jolene. And I don't know about you- but when it comes to best friends, some times the relationships you have with them are unusual. Jolene and I are constantly ribbing each other. Like, all the time. It how we get along- haha- and you know how you only tease the ones you love, right? Well I'm sitting there at their table having coffee when I notice this -
Think she's sending me a message?? Haha.....
I'm thinking she was! THAT'S our relationship!! hahah -
Easter Sunday we spent out for lunch in Portsmouth with Gary and Lorraine and then we hit Flight in Dover for some coffee.
Later I ran into these two Easter Bunnies in Market Square!
No idea who they were, but they were nice and they had candy. S***, if they had a van, I'd have gotten in the back of it!!!
Oh, and I interrupted a herd of deer too. About 8-10 of them were in the middle of the road, so I slowed and half went one way and the other half went the other way. I did manage to grab a shot of a few of em, though.
And check out this little guy hamming it up on the Bird Buddy!
Bluebird gettin all up in my grill, bruh!!!
Stop giving me that friggin evil eye ya bastid!!! haha -
I know. Only 80 year olds have Bird Buddy's. You're right. But I have to say - they're pretty cool.
Hope you guys had a good weekend-
