My Weekend: The Ghost, A White Out, Blue Lights and Things That Fly

Seriously- every weekend should be 3 days.

Seriously, when I'm elected King, that's the first s*** I do. Boom. 3 Day Weekends for ALL.

It was a pretty cool weekend, and it included a trip to the Peterborough Town House for a show by my favorite band - the Ghost of Paul Revere.

Ever have a band that you love that you just can't figure out how they are HUGE? That's how I feel about these guys. Great songs, harmonies, and they're great musicians! I don't care if there's a banjo in the band- this is a rock band. True- not in a "metal" sense- but they tear up the stage! If you ever get the chance to see them - do yourself a favor- and see them. YES, they're that damn good. (oh, and they're really good guys too. That helps!)

And btw- I LOVE Peterborough! Such a cool little town with some cool bars and restaurants!

We grabbed a bite at Harlows Pub before the show - and it was awesome. Service was great too!

Oh- and while we were driving there in complete sunshine- our car phone/radio went nuts with an alarm that we were about to drive into a WHITE OUT SNOW SQUALL.

WTF?

2 SECONDS LATER-

And this was when it was LIGHTENING UP! Friggin blizzard hit out of nowhere - and the roads got icy and visibility was down to about 20 yards!!

AND THE SUN WAS OUT 5 MINUTES BEFORE!

I saw that shit happen to Dennis Quaid in the DAY AFTER TOMORROW- so it kinda freaks me out!

And if the ride there wasn't eventful enough.......the ride home as interesting too -

11:40pm and some dude with Blue Lights flashing was behind me..... (Oops!)

That's all Im gonna say about that. (Full disclosure: I got a verbal warning. I was only going a few over the limit. The officer was very kind)

We chilled all day on Sunday....

Valerie and Molly chilled after we binge watched "9 Perfect Strangers" on Hulu. It was really good. Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy and more. Kinda freaky but good.

Then Monday was roadtrip day. Took a drive down to Rockport MA to shoot a sunrise. Never shot one there before- so I checked it out- and it was gorgeous -

And I got lucky and spotted one of these guys up in Rye as well -

Cute little things. Very playful.
