I gotta be honest: I don't get high heels. Never have.
Why would you want to walk around with your foot in that position, with your toes all jammed up like that?
I don't care if it makes my ass look better or whatever- there is no way high heel shoes make sense to me.
Having said that- here's another reason: THEY'RE DANGEROUS! <grin>
Here's a woman who was trying to kill a spider on her ceiling - when she slipped off the bed she was standing on- and landed on the floor ON TOP of her upturned high heel shoe that was lying there! The result: THE ENTIRE HIGH HEEL SPIKE WAS EMBEDDED IN HER HEEL!
OUCH!

Double ouch. She's recovering and will be fine, obviously - but next time? She might not be so lucky!!
