Another Strange Turn: Alec Baldwin Speaks to the Press on Vermont Roadside

Alec Baldwin spoke to "the press" for the first time since the shooting incident on set last week. And he did it - of all places- on the side of the road in a small town in Vermont.

Alec Baldwin and his kids were being followed by paparazzi in Vermont, so in an effort to get them to stop - he stood and let them ask questions on the side of the road.

His wife was there with him - and both of them were recording the events as well - I'm guessing to make sure the reporters got it straight, But - anyway - here's the entire 4 minute Q&A...

Now I might not be the biggest fan of Alec's, but I still feel bad for him in this situation. Yes, he pulled the trigger, but he was completely under the impression that the gun was not loaded (why would it be?), and in movies- they have professionals to handle the weapons and make sure they are safe. There are many steps to be followed before the gun gets into the actors hands on a set- and clearly - those steps weren't followed. There will be charges filed here- but I don't think Alec will be charged with a crime (a civil suit is a completely different story). But hey- Im a friggin morning radio host, so what the hell do I know?

Regardless- a roadside interview on a back road in Vermont is yet another odd twist in this whole story....
