Thin Lizzy founder and vocalist Phil Lynott is getting the documentary treatment with the Fall film Songs While I'm Away.
The documentary's trailer was released Thursday and features rock icons like Metallica's James Hetfield showing some love for the late singer, saying "Phil Lynott was one of the greatest songwriters of all time."
Songs While I'm Away will document Lynott's life as a young black man in 1950's Ireland who would later become "a rock poet", according to U2's Adam Clayton, who was interviewed for the film.
