Mississippi Residents Protest Pothole By Decorating It For The Holidays

Residents of McComb, Mississippi figured the best way to draw the city's attention to a large, un-repaired pothole was to make it go viral. So those who live on the street in the Edgewood neighborhood stuck a yellow road cone over the spot, then decorated it for the holidays. According to the Enterprise-Journal, they've added tinsel, spray-painted pinecones, white leaves and even stuck on holly berries. The next step is to string with lights. The Associated Press says it's unclear how long the pothole has been there, or what kicked off the protest. How long does it take for your town to take care of issues? How responsive are they?
