A GREAT WEEKEND!

I often have to sugar coat my life and pretend it's all okay . . .and I know it's okay to not be okay. This weekend was actually GREAT! Friday I went to Duston Country Club and played 9 holes by myself. I am still new to golf, which you can tell by my score, but it was still a lot of fun and I can't wait to go out and play again. Then a friend came over for a beer and listen to music. Friday night was a baseball night for Dylan and before the game we ordered from Wonder in Bedford. I highly recommend! So many different restaurants to order from so no matter what someone is craving they have it! And delivered right to your house!

Saturday, more baseball. . . Dylan lost in the championship, but it was still a great game. Then we went to the bowling alley for my new ball! Thank you to Steve and everyone at Yankee Lanes! Then we went back to my house for a BBQ, fire, music and such great time with my friends. I am so lucky to have them in my life!

Sunday, we were off to the Rod and Gun for a party! It's always a great time catching up with friends and sharing laughs. Then I played a game where I gave the kids $20 and set a timer for 7 minutes and let them go into Dollar Tree to see what they could get . . .back to my house for them to create pool noodle swords. Another BBQ with my sister and sister in law and the kids with some Mr.Mac's on the side . . .we love that Parker works there!

My first weekend in 7 months that I didn't cry . . .I wasn't overwhelmed with grief. I felt loved, shared laughs and felt like a new version of myself. I know I am not doing this alone and I am just so thankful for my supportive friends and family.

I hope you guys had a nice weekend!
