A Florida man on Tuesday was sentenced to two years in federal prison after he was found guilty of stealing his twin brother's identity to scam veteran's benefits.
Prosecutors say 64-year-old Jacksonville resident Wayne Bowen stole more than $60,000 in V.A. benefits by using his estranged twin brother's social security number and discharge papers.
In addition to spending the next two years behind bars, Bowen has been ordered to pay back the money he stole. What kind of a scam would you pull if you had a twin?
