A Georgia man has been charged with scamming nearly a million dollars from the grocery store where he worked.
Authorities say 19-year-old Tre Brown would create false returns at the Duluth, GA Kroger where he worked. They say Brown ran dozens of fraudulent transactions ranging from $75 to $87,000, stealing over $980,000 in just two weeks - money he used to buy clothes, guns, and two vehicles, one of which had already been totaled before the arrest.
Could Brown have gotten away with this scam if he hadn't been quite so greedy? Do you think the $87,000 transaction gave him away?
