If Elvis was alive he would be 86 years old today (January 8th). Since his death in 1977 fans has called the events surrounding his death, “mysterious.” Upon his death, the family had his autopsy sealed which further caused speculation but now Garry Rodgers, a retired homicide detective, and forensic coroner told the Huffington Post that he would attribute Elvis’ death to a heart attack caused by heart disease and drug use caused by an autoimmune disease which was sparked by a brain injury.
Many of the symptoms Elvis suffered with were consistent with autoimmune diseases but little was known about them at the time. Elvis displayed chronic pain, irrational behavior, obesity, and enlarged and diseased organs like hearts and bowels. He essentially died from the strain of attempting to defecate and compressing the abdominal aorta, shutting down his heart. What do you think Elvis would be doing at the age of 86?
