NYC Subway Station Turned Into Van Halen Avenue

Street artist Adrian Wilson has turned a New York City subway station into an Eddie Van Halen tribute - at least for now. Wilson changed the sign in Brooklyn's Van Siclen Avenue station to read 'Van Halen Avenue'.

Unfortunately, the sign - made with a custom sticker, according to Wilson - didn't stay up for long. Should NYC put up an official tribute to EVH, like they've done with artists like John Lennon and David Bowie?
