The "Snyder Cut" of 2017's Justice League will be landing on HBO Max in 2021. A little surprise came early. During the Justice League panel from Comic Con at Home fans were given a quick clip of one of the scenes that is being added back into the film and changed back to what Zack Synder originally wanted for the final cut.
This scene, showcasing Superman making a pit stop to meet with Bruce Wayne's butler and mentor, Alfred, you'll notice the man of steel is sporting a fancy black suit. This is straight from the "Death of Superman" storyline in the 90's. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League used the arc as inspiration so it's no surprise that Clark is sporting this look. Take a look!
Now, I have to address....we've seen this scene before in the deleted scene section of the theatrical versions DVD and Blu-ray. I guess before it made it to the cutting room floor with Joss Whedon, who took over for Zach Snyder after a family tragedy, Superman was wearing his original suit that we have seen before. This will be one of the many changes we will be seeing in 2021 when the Snyder Cut comes to HBO Max.
