Holy Return, Batman!

Michael Keaton back as the dark knight?! *THUD*

In the effort to make the DCEU a formidable force to all the Marvel movies Warner Brothers is looking into bringing back Michael Keaton's version of Bruce Wayne/Batman from the Tim Burton directed movies into continuity. This will all be part of the solo Flash film with Ezra Miller that is due out in theaters in 2022. However, it is being reported that Michael Keaton will be used as a "Nick Fury type character". If anything, this move is setting up a Batman Beyond movie down the road.

wait...wasn't that Earth destroyed in Crisis on Infinite Earths? It was never established if that Earth returned or merged with another after the anti-monitor was defeated and the multi-verse was re-designed. I guess this is why The Flash is going over to Earth-89? OR! The DCEU takes place on Earth-89 now!
