arlier this year, archeology students at Stanford University created beer samples based on a 5,000-year-old recipe.

That inspired the owners of a brewery in Beijing to mass produce the stuff and offer it to customers.

The  Jing A Brewery worked with a local archeology team to get the recipe  right, but then tweaked it to make it tastier for modern beer drinkers.  Their efforts paid off: Jing A now pours the ancient beer at its  brewpub.

It reportedly resembles a German wheat beer. (Vice)
