The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says on Thursday, Deputies were sent to the area of 196th and V Streets on a report of a male who was chasing two juvenile females in a menacing manner.
Investigators say the male, identified as 34-year-old Zachary Vinton, was located and questioned.
The Sheriff's Office says Vinton revealed to Deputies that his intention was to catch the girls and and unlawfully engage them.
Further investigation revealed that Vinton has been alleged to have engaged in similar activities in the past.
He was booked into the Douglas County Corrections on charges of Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child – 1st Degree and Child Enticement.
Both are felonies.
The DCSO does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public relating to this incident.
