The weekend started off with spending some time with some of our friends from WMUR-TV Channel 9 for the TOYS FOR TOTS drive! Thanks to everyone who came out and dropped off toys (not only at that location- but anywhere the drives were happening!). It was always fun to hang with Mr and Mrs Claus! Here's Erika, me, Kelly and Roadkill buttering up Santa and the Mrs hoping for some good presents this holiday! Ha!
And special thanks to our friends from Ocean State Job Lots who dropped off a TRUCKLOAD of toys!!!
It was a cold night on Friday - so I saddled up to some Portugese Seafood Stew at Surf Restaurant in Portsmouth with Valerie and friends! It was PERFECT for a cold night!
The chill continued on Saturday morning, and Valerie was out with some friends- so - I went out shooting (with a camera), looking to see what I could see. Some flurries made for some nice barn shots while I was out in the Rochester area -

And Saturday night- Valerie and i decorated the tree- using all the homemade ornaments made by our families through the years.
We also watched a movie I've been waiting a long time to see-
Clooney and Sandler star in a film about a huge movie star who's great in movies- but not so great in life. I have to admit - Clooney is incredible in this movie, AND Sandler is right there with him. I LOVED it. Valerie was kind of "meh" about it- but I thought it was great. Clooney says more with his eyes than anything - and it's not like anything I've seen him do. And Adam Sandler? I've said it forever- GIVE THE GUY AN OSCAR. And yes, I m SERIOUS. He's so damn good at serious roles and this one is excellent. Best Supporting Actor nod for him or else.
On Sunday - we had breakfast at Dover's Fat Dog Kitchen!
Food was great as always, and the staff is awesome too! Then - I was off to TD Garden for a little hockey in the SHORESY CLASSIC! It's Jared Keeso and the co stars of the hilarious hockey comedy series SHORESY - playing against the Bruins Alumni (like Zdeno Charra, Andrew Raycroft, Colton Orr and more). Crazy thing? 10,000 FANS SHOWED UP! What a blast!
Even got to meet a couple of cast members like "Hitch" (former NHL'er Terry Ryan!)
and John Mirasty- who plays of of the "Jims" (there's 3 on the team- haha). Here he is with me and my buddy The Doctor of Rock, Chris Garrett
Both cool guys. Fun time at the game too - and it ended in a low scoring tie game...
