Nashville’s Freezing Temps Cause Amy’s Garage Pipe to Burst

Amy didn't prepare her home for Nashville's below freezing temperatures, and one of her pipe's busted.

While at her house, Amy was trying to use her water when it stopped working. The water came back on, but not for long and then she heard a loud noise. She didn't think much of it and didn't know where it came from. She went out into her garage a little bit later and saw water spewing everywhere. Amy didn't know how to turn her water off, but she called her sister and they were able to figure it out together.

That's when Amy realized one of the pipes busted, so she called a plumber to come out and fix it. With the low temperatures, the water that went everywhere quickly turned into ice and her garage was like a skating rink.

Despite the unfortunate situation, Amy was thankful it wasn't as bad as it could have been because it wasn't inside of her house. She admitted she learned a lot as a homeowner with this particular situation and called herself a bonehead for not letting her pipes drip as some people suggested.
