The TPC Group has withdrawn its plea agreement with the federal government in connection with the November 2019 explosion at its Port Neches facility. A hearing was held this morning at the Jack Brooks Federal Courthouse in Beaumont. U.S. District Court Judge Micael Truncale planned to increase the restitution to $97 million each year for three years. That would be a total of $291 million. TPC is ready to go to trial.
