Winter Storm Brings Snow To Oklahoma

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until noon Friday for much of southeast and east central Oklahoma and all of western Arkansas. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the same time across the remainder of the area. 3 to 8 inches of snow are common throughout the areas with locally higher amounts up to 10 inches in the terrain areas. Travel is expected to become dangerous across portions of the area.
