The "Wasteline" website of the Omaha Solid Waste Program reminds us that Thursday, December 9th, is the last day Christmas trees can be dropped off at collection sites.
Delivering trees after Thursday is illegal dumping under Omaha municipal code and punishable by a fine of up to $500, loss of a driver's license for 6 months, and all cleanup costs.
