Berks County Reports "Dramatic" Drop In Homicides
(Reading, PA) -- The Berks County District Attorney's Office is reporting what they're calling a "dramatic drop" in homicides. D-A John Adams says there were twelve homicides in the county last year after 20 in 2023. Adams said it's the lowest number seen in Berks County since the 1990s. He credits the drop in homicides to the county's efforts to promote gun safety.
