A starving hound missing since Hurricane Milton is rescued after 3 months

I saw a post this morning about a missing dog, a girl was fishing late last night by the railroad trussel in Ruskin and saw a red hound that looked trapped on the tracks because the bridge is up. People were unsure of the location to help but we've fished there many times over the years so I knew exactly where she meant. The other side of the tracks is all marsh. Kent and I grabbed our boots and drove out to gulf city road to hike down the tracks, it's a long way. We immediately saw a red hound. It ran into the bushes then came back out for treats but was skin and bones and completely frightened. We spent 2 hours with the dog trying to gain trust. A local lady thought it might be her dog Miles that went missing during the hurricane in October, she commented on the original sighting post. We took a picture and sent it to her then called her. She cried and said that's Miles!!! She was there within 5 minutes and sat down, called him. No luck then suddenly he appeared smelled his blanket she brought, and went running over to her. Miles is home after 80 days in the woods!!!
