Rhode Island State Police say troopers arrested 108 people for DUI over the New Year holiday period of December 27th through January 5th.
Warwick Chief of Police Colonel Bradford Connor says driving under the influence is never acceptable, and those who choose to drink or use cannabis and drive will be caught and arrested.
He says this holiday season, 108 people learned that the hard way and they will spend months and years dealing with the consequences.
