Nicki Minaj might face criminal charges due to an incident described by her former manager, Brandon Garrett, in his lawsuit. TMZ reports that the Detroit Police have asked for a warrant from the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. In the lawsuit, Garrett claims Minaj confronted him aggressively after he sent someone else to pick up her prescription. She reportedly yelled at him in her dressing room before a concert in Detroit, saying he had lost his mind and that her husband would harm him if he were present. She allegedly slapped him on the face and wrist. Garrett states he was so scared that he hid in a restroom at Little Caesars Arena for hours. He has accused Minaj of assault, battery, and causing emotional distress, seeking damages in the lawsuit. When the news about the lawsuit broke, Minaj's lawyer, Judd Burstein, stated that they had not yet received a complaint and were unaware of the allegations. He insisted that if the lawsuit is accurate, it is completely false and will be resolved quickly in Minaj's favor. Keep it locked to 103.5 The Beat for more!
