And with flavors ranging everywhere from classic tomato bisque or herby chicken noodle to hot and sour Tom Yum or cheesy broccoli and cheddar — or anywhere in between — there are endless possibilities to get your soup fix.
According to a list compiled by Yelp, the best soup in all of Missouri can be found at The Fountain on Locust, with the site recommending the signature Polish dill pickle soup. The dish served at this popular St. Louis eatery has a comforting potato base and is full of crushed pickles. As one Yelp reviewer raved about their summer meal: "Must try the dill pickle soup. It was 99 degrees and still the must have of the meal."
The Fountain on Locust, located at 2027 Locust Street, has a 4.7 star rating on Google and more than 3,000 reviews.
