Syracuse, N.Y. - A man is dead after a crash Friday morning.
Syracuse Police say around 12:30 a vehicle driven by 41 year old James Froio was likely traveling north in the 1600 block of Valley Drive when he swerved off the road and crashed into a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
It has been confirmed that this is not the James R Froio who is the Jordan Elbridge school district's Superintendent.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and if anyone has any information they are asked to contact the Syracuse Police Traffic Division at (315) 442-5130.
