In Williamsburg, Massachusetts a big save for police.
A motorist discovered a banned owl, apparently hit by a car on Route 143 that was seriously hurt.
The Good Samaritan took the owl to the police who took it to a local vet.
Police last night said that the owl survived and is recovering.
