The National Association of Realtors is naming Grand Rapids a housing hot spot for 2025.
The group says while many parts of the country, including GR, are experiencing a housing shortage, inventory levels are expected to improve in the new year.
The organization analyzed job growth rates, how many homeowners are locked in to a low mortgage rate and how many millennial renters could afford to buy a home to create their list.
The report says Grand Rapids offers a combination of promising long-term prospects and affordability.
