Richland County Man and Woman Arrested in Connection to Death in Columbus

Two people from Richland County, a man and a woman, have been arrested in connection to a stabbing death in Columbus.

RichlandSource.com reports that according to Franklin County Municipal Court records, Shavar Johnson, 23, of Mansfield and Courtney Webb, 21, of Shelby, were arraigned in court on Thursday.

Johnson was charged with murder and had his bond set at $1.5 million, while Webb was charged with felony obstruction of Justice, and bond was set at $500,000.

Columbus Police found a 22 year old man unresponsive Wednesday morning around 7:30 with multiple stab wounds in a park on North Grant Avenue.

A preliminary hearing will take place for both next Friday, Dec 20th.
