Gymnast Jordan Chiles and USA Gymnastics are searching for new avenues – including the Swiss Federal Tribunal -- to retain her bronze medal in the floor exercise.
On Monday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) refused to review evidence supplied by USA Gymnastics. Timestamped video shows Jordan’s coach asking for a score review within the allotted time limit.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) won’t take a look. A statement from USA Gymnastics reads, "The CAS notified us that their rules do not allow for an arbitral award to be reconsidered even when conclusive new evidence is presented.” (NBC Sports)
