This was a nice long weekend! This is the first time in I don't know how long that we didn't do our annual Labor Day trip to Old Orchard Beach. We couldn't find a house to rent and although we were super bummed out about it we made the best and made sure we still had some fun with our family! Friday night the kids and I met my folks at Golden Corral. I have been wanting to try it and it was great! The kids LOVED it too! They had a variety of food and desserts. If you like buffets then I recommend it. It's on South Willow St in Manchester.
Saturday night we went to the Fishercats game. I love when all the cousins get to be together having fun.
Sunday we had some people over for a day of eating and drinking. I did a tortellini bar and it came out awesome! The tortellinis were cooked for 1 minute in boiling water and then put on the blackstone with a butter garlic parmesan sauce and it gave them this awesome texture. For sides: mushrooms and shallots, grape tomatoes and basil, spinach, zucchini, scallops and shrimp, sausage.
Monday my sister in-law and I took our boys to Canobie Lake Park. It was fun and a beautiful day to unofficially end summer on! I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
