Tribute to C-Pap Billy - you will be missed.

When I took this job I had no clue that I would make so many friends. Listeners become friends, and some feel more like family. So many years of laughs and stories, catching up at events, growing up together no matter what point we are in our lives.

I am not sure the first time I met Bill and Diane Wheeler, but they soon became great friends; friends that felt more like family. Always welcoming me and the rest of the Buzz to their camper at NHMS, always at Buzz Ball, visiting the station, having rolos for Greg, beers for Kayla and I, calling in to the show and just being a part of our family. One of my favorite stories is when Bill had a rough night at NHMS and Kayla and I stopped in to visit the Wheeler's camper the next morning and while we were live on the air we woke him up. We startled him awake with his c-pap mask on and everything. We couldn't stop laughing and he forever was known as C-Pap Billy. I am sure through out the years if you have been to NHMS or been to a Buzz event or even just listened to the show you might have heard the name C-Pap Billy. A couple of weeks back Bill went into the hospital for an issue and while he was there he contracted pneumonia. Bill never got better even though he had the biggest fan club sending the best wishes, good vibes and prayers his way. C-Pap Billy passed on March 25th and I will miss him so dearly. My thoughts are with his wonderful wife Diane and daughter Whitney. Sending all my love.

I hope you enjoy these pictures. Thank you Diane and Whitney for making sure I got these.
