The truth is - it was kind of a "working" vacation for me - because I spent some time in our new studio, getting stuff ready for our first live show there on Wednesday.
It's a very cool studio that will allow us (once we get our feet wet) to do some pretty cool stuff, including video and more! Here's a pic of the board for ya -
There's a lot more going on here than with our previous console. Regardless- the all kind of basically work the same, you just gotta adapt. More pics and video to come once we're there on Monday (we're doing a couple practice runs which you can hear on the Buzz 24/7 - before we hit the air on Wednesday).
I also spent 3 days in Acadia National Park, kind of my "getaway" place. Got to shoot (with a camera, obv) the Milky Way in some very cool spots -

And this was a cool shack located somewhere near Cushing, Maine.

Oh, and did I mention I got to hang with William Shatner? (See my previous post on this page for a full rundown)
And here's a video I put together of some of what I photographed-
And we wound up the vacation at the Journey/Toto show!!!
Good show, but someones gotta tell Neil Schon that not every friggin song needs a 4 minute blistering guitar solo -
Holy S***, bro! WE GET IT! YOU CAN PLAY GUITAR!! I mean - at what point does the solo become masturbation?? Ugh -
And thats my story and Im sticking to it...
Cant wait to get back live on the air on Wednesday!
