Stop Whining About Tom Brady and Just Say "Thank You"!

NFC Divisional Playoffs - Los Angeles Rams v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady officially announced his retirement. The greatest to ever play the game, had played his last game, and gave New England 6 Super Bowl Trophies along the way.

And 10 minutes later sports radio was bitching about it.

I find it funny how "upset" people are that Tom Brady didn't mention New England in his retirement announcement today. Sports radio jumped on it like a starving dog on a piece of beef- and all I could think about was -

What ungrateful pricks football fans and sports radio guys can be.

Granted - for the radio guys- its grist for the mill. Stoking the fire of it just keeps the phones ringing. Four hours later they were STILL complaining about the same thing. Then I checked social media - and there it is again - everywhere.

I don't get it.

Explain to me how it is that Tom Brady- a man who brought us 6 Super Bowl Trophies - owes YOU, ME or anyone in New England ANYTHING?

Seriously, I'll wait.

Those trophies ARE THE REWARD WE GOT!

We got our Thank You's when he left here to go to Tampa! He practically wrote love letters to the fans when he left! He had obvious issues with the team management - so he left. Just like you would leave your job if management was jerking you around or not paying you what you are worth. So he left and started Phase 2 of his career.

And what do you know? The guy did it again. He won another Super Bowl. This time, at an age most QB's don't even get to while playing the game.

So when he calls it quits, he pays tributes to the team that he played for, the fans and management that stood behind him.

That's how it should be.

And some fans and radio guys are butt hurt over it?

Give me a friggin break! Quit your friggin WHINING!

All I will say is what every single true New England Patriots fan should say to TB12:

"THANK YOU FOR GIVING US ALL THE BEST FOOTBALL YEARS WE HAVE EVER SEEN".

We got the privilege of watching the greatest to ever play the game - play the game for US.

And years from now when he goes into the Hall of Fame - he'll do so mainly because of his time as a New England Patriot.

And that will be our reward, all over again.

So quit your bitching, and just thank the man.
