The Blizzard wasn't so big a deal after all, was it? I mean - for all the talk of "18-26 inches" - I think we got about 8. I think 11 was the most I saw on the news. That's hardly a huge amount. Don't get me wrong- I don't want to shovel that s***. It just ain't a massive amount like they were scaring us with.
Even when it was blowing, I took a quick shoot to the beach to try and see if I could get anything with the camera, and even that was a bit of a let down. No GIANT waves, and the snow was so small and whipping so fast- it was hard to catch on camera. But still - I did a short video for ya...
Then on Saturday came this nonsense...
The sports world stopped when this news hit. And the fact that it came from insider ADAM SHEFFTER, made it totally believable! And when I heard it, I felt two things: 1. Happy for the guy. and 2. Skeptical.
Turns out, I had reason to be. It just struck me as strange timing for him to announce now- right before the NFL Championship weekend. He never struck me as an upstager when it came to stuff like this. Not the day before. Then we find out he gets a chunk of cash if he doesn't announce until February. So who knows...?
Anyway - I went to the grocery store because Valerie wanted to make some soup. I think they call it "Peasant Soup"- its got diced tomatoes, sausage, spinach, cannelloni beans, and more -and it's KILLER SOUP. She sends me with a list, but no amounts on how much of what to buy..... so I bring home THIS:
She's like- "HOLY CRAP HONEY!!! ARE WE MAKING SOUP FOR AN ARMY???"
I said- "We are NOW"!! How am I supposed to know how much of each thing? Better too much than not enough, right? Man - I cant win either way!!! hahah (btw - the soup might be the best soup ever....)
And last but not least.....I'll leave this at the end for those of you who stuck with reading this...
