First off, went to the store on Friday to pick up a few groceries. I was looking to grab some ice cream when I saw this:
Rum Raisin? They still make this stuff? I was shocked! Does anyone under 100 years old eat this stuff? Nothing against raisins, but I haven't seen anyone eat this stuff since my Grandfather- and he died in 1982! (RIP, Pa).
I thought for sure it would be right next to the Maple Walnut, or Neopolitan, Butter Pecan or Pistachio ice cream!!!
Anyway- I grabbed a container of Coffee Oreo. It might not be the most exciting, but at least that flavor wasn't around when Ben Franklin flew his kite...
Onward to Saturday morning - where I got up at 5am and headed to Portland ME. The forecast called for bitter cold again, and Portland looked like it was expecting clearer skies - so I headed there. Plus- there was a shot I wanted to get if there was sea smoke along the water. And here it is - Willard Beach in South Portland, with Portland Head Light in the background. 8am, 5 degrees, with windchill about -10.

I then headed down to Portland Head Light to see what it looked like there. I didn't expect anything because the sun was higher in the sky- BUT - I saw that if I got out on the edge of this cliff- I could get the sun to be partially hidden by the lighthouse itself. So, out there on the egde of a cliff, I did what most idiots do ....

Of course, I was perfectly safe- and it gave me the opportunity to get this shot with my real camera...

Had a wedding to attend on Saturday night- our friends Dave and Kerri Martinelli's daughter Molly got married (Congrats to Molly and Justin Tremblay!).

Watched a great 2nd season of the Netflix show - THE INNOCENT on Sunday morning! If you love "who done it?" type stuff- watch it. Its very good!
Took an hour to go into the woods to watch some bald eagles later- and while I was standing there I got a notification of a memory on Facebook. It was reminding me of what I was doing exactly one year ago on Sunday...
And when I looked at it - I realized...
I was wearing THE EXACT SAME THING, DOING THE EXACT SAME THING, IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE- I was EXACTLY one year ago.
I felt pathetic..... hahaha....
But whatever-
